Binary Oppositions within 'Taken'

Taken 
Family man and vengeful father 

Due to a disruption in the antagonist’s lfe, he is forced to take on the role of an almost her0-villain inorder to inact revenge. We will try to portray a similar change in character in our own production

Past and present 

 Just as ‘Taken’ focuses on a drastic change in a family’s lfe between two points in time, so too will our production, with the use of flashbacks to happier times. This can be be seen at the start of the trailer to Taken, before any disruption occurs. The change is highlighted in the differing styles of lighting; at the start it is very high key low contrast, later changing to almost chiaroscuro lighting.
